The Horner & Singer transaction team has an industry specific focus on retail leasing. On behalf of landlords we lease existing centers, redevelopment projects, mixed use projects, ground up new construction projects and single tenant triple net investments. With respect to new construction projects, we handle all aspects of the development from land purchase, entitlements, through construction contracts, vendor contracts, leasing and ground leasing, sales of parcels, and the eventual sale. We are a one stop shop for retail development. We represent institutional investors, pension fund advisors, REITs, Fortune 500 developers, and local real estate investment companies. On the tenant side, we represent several mid-box fortune 500 tenants, as well several nationally recognized private companies, and a quickly expanding grocery chain. We participate in several publications for retail attorneys including the continuing education of the bar, the Miller & Starr forms books, and several ICSC publications. We regularly speak at ICSC and Scott Singer has been on the Northern California Program Committee for approximately 7 years. We have completed deals with all the major players in the market from Target, to Whole Foods, Safeway, Fresh & Easy, Home Depot, Best Buy, Sports Authority, Nordstrom's, Walgreens, Starbucks, Chipotle, 24 hour fitness, and most of the major retail players in the marketplace. Simply stated, our focus is retail leasing.
